Ponor's former coach (finally) broke the "Omerta Law"
Former (and first) coach of Catalina Ponor, Mr.Matei Stanei,
is the first Romanian coach to freely express his opinions
over B&B and their complete ignoring of girls first and
/or Club coaches. During a press conference held in Constanta,
he have accused B&B as having a "Superstar"-attitude
over the other coaches from local Clubs. Mr.Stanei have trained
Catalina Ponor for 11 years at the local club in Constanta.
Enclosed some quotes:
"Is not the fist time these two use the resignation method;
probably this time, too, they expect people beg them, again!
They act like "Stars"
"I'm disturbed most by the fact they neglected girls
training"
"B&B have a total ignorance over the Club coaches
which have trained the girls; without our work, those from
local Clubs from around the country, the B&B would be
nonexistent; we remain anonymous, and they take the Glory"
"Bitang says all the time, about Club coaches, being
as idiots; her vocabulary is very rude; if the cleaning lady
from my Club would speak like this, I would fire her at once."
regarding "Catalina statements" (to retire if B&B
will leave):"Those weren't her words; they brainwashed
her, as it says; she have her own way on gym, and they must
not fool/destroy other people work.On the other hand, their
assumption that "external forces" work to destroy
them are pure fabulations, UFO's alike."
...After the courage of Oana Petrovschi to bring to trial
her former coaches, Mr.Stanei is the first (and only) Romanian
coach to speak about Mrs.Bitang attitude and B&B dictatorship
in Romanian gymnastics. As a curious coincidence, Belu have
managed to stay at the Olympic Team for 24 years, same period
as former Dictator Ceusescu managed to rule Romania.The last
one ended badly, being shot during the 1989 Revolution (or
whatever); B&B ended bad too, being under press spots
for all their past mistakes. In Iraq, Saddam is not feeling
well, too. He ruled for 2.. years.;too much, it seems, human
nature have transformed (all of) them into Dictators.
